During the summer months, we take advantage of Media’s Dining-Under-the-Stars
extravaganza. Main Street is closed to vehicular traffic, and we dine al fresco. Media hosts this
event every Wednesday from May through September. When the weather does not cooperate,
we eat inside our selected restaurant. We generally go on the first Wednesday of the month.
On our last Media evening in September, the weather was absolutely delightful, and we ate
outside at Shere-E-Punjab. This Indian restaurant is extremely tasty.
Last month saw 3 new attendees, Jeff and Hope Miller, who frequent this restaurant, and
Dennis Rothwell from Philadelphia who hosts the last Thursday of the month outing in Fishtown.
On October 2, we have selected a Japanese restaurant, New Leaf, at 2916 West Chester Pike,
Broomall, PA.
As we experience our delicious meal, we select another fine establishment to visit the next

event, generally the first Tuesday. If you always wanted to try out a restaurant, but didn’t want
to go by yourself, suggest it and we can check it out together! The Delaware County boundary
is just a guideline—be creative!
